Mido Hostel - Seogwipo

Super cozy and spacious rooms, friendly staff, clean and comfortable, good location, delicious breakfast.

As a traveler exploring Jeju Island, I spent 8 days at Mido Hostel and it was easily one of the best hostels I've stayed at. The modern and neat design, coupled with its convenient location near major bus stops, allowed for easy access to Jeju City and various attractions. The spacious and clean bedrooms and bathrooms provided a comfortable stay, while the cozy chill lounge created a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my experience even more enjoyable. Little details such as heated flooring and multi USB chargers by every bed added a special touch. The outdoor lounge, where movies were played at night, was also a great addition. Plus, the main facilities like the bathrooms, toilets, and kitchen areas were well-maintained and clean.

I wanted to visit Cheonjiyeon Waterfall in Seogwipo and chose to stay at Mido Hostel for its proximity to the waterfall. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary continental breakfast served daily from 8:00 AM. It was a great way to start my day of exploring.

A bit far from airport, but worth it for Seogwipo exploration.

The hostel is centrally located, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area. the rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and modern facilities like televisions and fridges. the staff is helpful and kind, providing excellent service. Guests can enjoy a simple yet satisfying breakfast each morning. the hostel has a cozy front room/bar area, perfect for socializing over coffee or beer.

One downside is that the hostel's courtyard and rooftop close early, limiting opportunities to hang out with fellow guests and enjoy the outdoor spaces.

I recently stayed at Mido Hostel for a hiking trip in Seogwipo. The staff was incredibly helpful and the hostel was impeccably clean. The bathrooms were surprisingly spacious compared to others I've seen in Korea. I loved having a cafe and large heating tables available. The free breakfast included fresh fruit and toast, and the atmosphere among the guests was friendly. Mido Hostel provided a great experience for my first time staying in a hostel.

I recently stayed at Mido Hostel for a few nights and I couldn't have been happier with my stay. The location is fantastic, with a bus stop and convenience shops just minutes away.
